Seret

Plex, replaced — on Apple TV, iPhone & iPad.

A free, self-contained streaming app powered by Real-Debrid. It talks straight to the Real-Debrid API — no media server, no Synology, no Plex Pass — recognizes and organizes your library with TMDB, and plays everything on-device with VLCKit.

What it does

01

Straight to Real-Debrid

No media server, no Plex, no rclone mount. Seret reads your Real-Debrid torrents directly and groups them into movies & shows, enriched with TMDB posters and metadata.

02

Plays what others can't

An on-device VLCKit 4 (Metal) player handles MKV, x265/HEVC, DTS/TrueHD and ASS subtitles — the formats AVPlayer chokes on, with no transcoding server in sight.

03

One brain, three faces

Native SwiftUI apps for Apple TV, iPhone and iPad — a focus-driven living-room UI and a touch-gesture mobile one — all sharing a single, fully-tested Swift core.

04

Profiles & iCloud sync

Netflix-style "Who's Watching" profiles, plus Continue Watching and resume that follow you from the living room to your phone over iCloud.

Build it yourself

Seret is open source. Clone the repo, drop in a free TMDB key, sign in with your Real-Debrid account, and build it in Xcode — the README walks you through every step.
